Interview with Ben Hills - Author of 'Breaking News'

The Melbourne Press Club is proud to present each year the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year Award. It is the biggest prize in journalism and, along with the Gold Walkley, the most coveted. The award honors the former editor of The Age who was widely considered to be the greatest Australian editor of the 20th century. In 2010, a biography of Graham Perkin was published. It was written by Ben Hills, a protégé of Perkin. Hills discusses Perkin here in this interview with the Press Club’s Michael Smith, another former Age editor.
