Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year Award
Entries for the 34th Annual Graham Perkin Award closed on February 12, 2010. Australia's most coveted media prize is expanded to cover print, broadcast and online journalists. The winner will be announced at the Quill Awards Dinner on Friday 19 March 2010.

MPC/Trawalla Foundation Arts Journalism Scholarship 2009


The winner of the 2009 Arts Journalism Scholarship is Quentin McDermott and colleagues from the ABC Four Corners program for the story "Art for Arts Sake?"
Andrew Stephens from The Age and Jacqui Durrant from Art Monthly Australia were both highly commended.


MPC/Siemens Award for Student Journalism 2009


Congratulations to Julian Trantino of Monash University – the winner of the 2009 MPC Siemens Award for Student Journalism. Julian won for his front page story on soccer legend, Francesco Totti which appeared in Soccer International. Congratulations also to Will Horton of Melbourne University who was Highly Commended for his entry.
